What data we collect

• Newsletter subscribers: email address you provide voluntarily, plus the date and IP address used at signup (for double opt-in compliance).
• Server logs: standard web logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics (optional): if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and Microsoft Clarity for aggregated behaviour analysis.
• Advertising (optional): if you accept advertising cookies, Google AdSense may display personalised ads. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.

Legal basis (GDPR)

• Newsletter: your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Server logs and security: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics and advertising cookies: consent collected via the cookie banner.

Data retention

Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are purged after 30 days. Analytics data is retained according to provider settings (currently 14 months for GA4).

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be announced via the cookie banner and the newsletter where applicable.
